Data controller
Ondřej Klučka, doing business as klucon.cz (Czech Republic), is the data controller for this forum. Contact: info@klucon.cz.
What we collect
- Account data: username, display name, and email address, received from JoomLeague ID (auth.joomleague.eu) when you sign in. We don’t see or store your password — that’s handled by the identity provider.
- Content you post: topics, replies, and any files you upload.
- Technical data: IP address, browser user agent, and timestamps, logged automatically for every request as part of running the server and defending against abuse.
- Cookies: a session cookie to keep you logged in, and a small number of functional cookies (e.g. remembering your last-read topic). We don’t use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we process it
- To operate the forum: create your account, show your posts, let you reply and search.
- To communicate with you: reply notifications, and (if you don’t opt out) occasional digest emails summarizing forum activity.
- To keep the forum safe: detecting spam and abuse, enforcing the Guidelines and Terms of Service.
Our legal basis under GDPR is performance of a contract (providing the forum service you signed up for) and legitimate interest (keeping the service secure and usable).
Who else sees it
- JoomLeague ID (auth.joomleague.eu) — the identity provider used for sign-in. It’s operated by the same team as this forum.
- Our email provider (Seznam.cz), used to relay outgoing notification emails. It sees the email address and message content of anything we send you.
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or other third parties.
How long we keep it
- Accounts that register but never confirm their email are automatically deleted after 30 days.
- Posted content is kept for as long as your account exists, or until you or a moderator removes it, since it’s part of the forum’s shared discussion history.
- Server logs are retained only as long as needed for security purposes.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you,
- correct it if it’s wrong,
- delete your account and associated personal data,
- restrict or object to how we use it,
- receive it in a portable format.
Contact info@klucon.cz for any of the above. You can also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.cz) if you believe we’ve mishandled your data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the Announcements category.
