JoomLeague 6.2.0 Beta 5 is now available. This release introduces new club history views, a clearer separation of referees and competition staff, improved frontend SEO and fixes reported during beta testing.
Officials and staff
- Separated participant, team staff, adjudicator, competition official and event staff roles.
- Updated all 15 sport profiles to support the new role classification.
- Added historical tracking of role changes and official replacements, including timing, reasons and delegated or non-delegated replacements. Original nominations are preserved.
- Extended person profiles with competition roles, nominations and replacement history, with profile links from event reports.
- Improved profile-driven lineup ordering, shirt-number alignment and separation of team staff. Technical participant ordering numbers are hidden in event reports.
Club history views
- Added a club rivals overview with historical records, aggregate scores and individual encounters.
- Added a historical club people directory with appearances and statistics.
- Added staff history with match records for coaches and other explicitly designated sport-profile roles.
- Added filters, pagination and optional table-column sorting.
Fixes and improvements
- Prevented programme participant changes when results, lineups, events or statistics already exist. An explanation is displayed; dates and times remain editable with the required permissions.
- Fixed package installation language loading when a translation for the current Joomla language is unavailable. English is used as the fallback.
- Standardised frontend SEO metadata, introduced distinct project-view titles and improved canonical URLs and translated SEF routing.
- Fixed double-escaped URLs in Open Graph metadata.
- Added a shared public URL provider for external sitemap integrations.
- Added the new JoomLeague logo to the administrator dashboard and About JoomLeague page.
